How to Set Your WooCommerce Product On Sale

Running a flash sale occasionally or offering a massive discount on your products can increase your revenue significantly. This also works great on holiday seasons when you want to offer these products on sale for a specific period. In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how you can set your WooCommerce products on sale with a few simple steps.

WooCommerce Configuration to Set a Product on Sale

Go to Products from your WordPress dashboard and Edit the product that you want to put on sale.

In the General section of the Product Data meta box there is a Sale price field. Enter the discounted price amount in it. In this case I would like to offer a 50% discount so I set the sale price from $29.99 to $14.99.

You can keep the product on sale for as long as you want. However, if you are running a holiday sale that should last for a couple of days, you can choose a date period. For example, if you are running a Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale this year, you might want to set this period to November 25-29.

You can also do this thing beforehand so your item automatically goes on sale when the holiday season starts.

When a user visits your store page they will be able to purchase the item on sale.
