Video schema is an add-on for the Easy Video Player plugin that lets you add schema data for your videos. This helps search engines discover and index videos on your website.
How Video Schema Works
When the schema/structured data is present for a video, search engines can understand more about that video. Your content may also be eligible for display as a video rich result.
How to Add Video Schema Data
By adding some parameters in the easy video player shortcode, you can automatically add a schema for it. You will also need to set the schema parameter to true to enable schema for a video.

Not all parameters are required. The video will be eligible for display as a rich result as long as the name, poster and uploaddate are present in it.

Video Schema Parameters
name
The title of the video (required).
poster
A thumbnail image of the video (required).
uploaddate
The date the video was first published in the year-month-day format (yyyy-mm-dd). This parameter is required.
description
A description of the video (optional).
duration
The duration of the video in ISO 8601 format (optional). e.g. T1H30M15S (1 hour 30 minutes 15 seconds), T5M47S (5 minutes 47 seconds), T40S (40 seconds).
